The Apostle Paul declared,"these three remain: faith, hope and love" (1 Corinthians 13:13) and that "the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13). In these series we will explore the source, and practical course in our lives, of these 5 Great Virtues: faith, hope, love peace, and joy....
Around 1,100 years before the coming of Jesus, in the days of the Judges in Israel, we find the daily lives of Naomi, Ruth the foreigner and Boaz become intertwined. In the book of Ruth the Lord's providence is clearly at work leading us to King Jesus our kinsman and family redeemer, our wings of refuge and our rest-provider.
This series addresses what it means for us to be made in God's image and in doing so answers what are our main purposes as human beings and the value of human life....
Here Paul sets out God's great plan of making one new humanity in Christ. The wealth, walk and warfare of this one glorious Church is set forth in this mind-stretching and heart-warming letter....
